It responds to holding the power button as it just flashes the charge more screen until I let go. It does not respond to the double tap, but the screen was function just prior and no physical damage occurred. When attempting to start the device in safe mode, the phone does not respond and acts like I am only holding the power button because the screen just keeps flashing. The most odd thing that happens is that on some of the times I plugged the cord in, the phone stayed black but pulsated a vibrate every second or so, this will stop if I unplug and plug back in the cord. It sounds like I have a combination of two different problems, reboot cycle that is common in phones or a stuck power button. If it was a stuck reboot cycle I would think that it could be started in safe mode, if it was a stuck power button it wouldn’t stop the pulsating vibrate.
